Meet Vaishnavi
As an expat living in Germany, I understand the emotional layers of relocation far beyond what textbook describes. I’ve navigated the cultural adjustment, the identity shifts, and the homesickness myself. I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to every single session, providing structured and compassionate guidance that is tailored specifically to the expat life.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a Wellbeing Advisor and a Psychotherapist?
While I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Cognitive Science, in Germany, I practice as a Wellbeing Advisor, and not a licensed Psychotherapist (Psychologischer Psychotherapeut). This means our work will be focused on grounding, resilience, and navigating life transitions (coaching model) rather than diagnosing or treating clinical mental disorders. If your needs fall outside this scope, I am happy to help you find the appropriate clinical resources in Düsseldorf area.
Can I pay through my German Public Health Insurance (TK, AOK, etc.)?
No. Because wellbeing advisory and coaching are not classified as medical treatments, they are not covered by public health insurance. However, many clients find that the speed of starting (no 6-month waiting list) and the specialized expat focus make the private investment worthwhile.
How many sessions will I actually need?
Every journey is unique. Some clients find clarity in just 3 sessions, while others prefer the ongoing support of a 10-session package to navigate a major relocation. During our free 15-minute intro call, we will discuss your specific goals and I will recommend a structure that fits your pace.
Do I have to be in Düsseldorf to work with you?
Not at all! While I love meeting clients in person, the majority of my practice is online. I work with expats and internationals across Europe via secure video calls. We can conduct our sessions in English, Hindi, or Marathi.
Is our work together confidential?
Absolutely. Even though I am not a clinical therapist, I adhere to the highest ethical standards of the profession. Your privacy is paramount, and our sessions are a 100% confidential, non-judgmental space.
